Hourly Rate: £12.38 - £16.46
The advertised hourly rate includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.
A market supplement is currently being applied to all night and weekend (Saturday and Sunday) shifts, uplifting your hourly rate in these periods to approx. £16.46. This will replace any previous market supplements and will apply to both your contracted hours and to any additional hours worked within the applicable time periods.
Location(s): Parkview Gardens Residential Care Home, Barrow-In-Furness
Available Hours: We have a number of rotas available covering nights (Typically between 9.30pm – 7.15am), including alternate weekends and Bank Holidays. Availability and rotas will be discussed during the recruitment process.

About the role
As a Support Worker you will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. You will assist with medication, providing personal care, and encouraging people to achieve or maintain independence.
No experience or qualifications are needed to get started. We will help and support you with fully paid training and development - we are looking for the right people with the right qualities.

About Our Home
Parkview Gardens is a 60 bedded two-storey residential home for older adults living with dementia, sensory impairment, and physical disabilities. Parkview Gardens is divided into five houses, with all the houses containing separate dining/communal areas. We have a self-serve café/seating area on the ground floor and upstairs we have a shop and hairdressers, laundry for residents to do their own washing and drying if they so wish.
Working within our Residential Care Service will typically involve working shifts which usually cover between 7am until 10pm (days) or 9.30pm - 7.15am (nights) over 7 days 365 day a year - this will include alternate weekends (as part of a set rota) and Bank Holidays.

DBS
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults Barred List check.
