Maths teacher 0.47 FTE,

Based throughout the school, Years 7 – 11.

The Governing Body wishes to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths teacher on a 0.47fte contract.  We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference to children’s progress and attainment in maths at our rural, oversubscribed school in the heart of The Lake District. 

The maths department at JRS makes a significant contribution to our excellent progress figures and 78% of our students achieved a 4 or higher in maths in 2023, our best ever outcomes. We are looking for a colleague with the personality, character and teaching ability to further push our maths attainment for all students.

Sandside Lodge is an all age special school for pupils and young people with severe and profound learning difficulties.
 
We are looking to appoint a Finance and Admin Assistant who will work alongside the admin team, under the supervision of the Office Manager and School Business Manager.  This is a permanent position due to retirement.

We are looking for a good communicator who has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.  To demonstrate a ‘can do attitude’ and can work well under pressure and use their own initiative.  Good IT skills, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel are also essential.
