The Governors wish to appoint a Full Time Teaching Assistant (to work predominantly across Key Stage 2 and/or with children with an EHCP).  This post will support individual pupils and classroom support, working closely with the headteacher, class teachers and SENCo.

We are looking for a highly motivated, caring and skilled practitioner who enjoys working with children, working collaboratively with others and who can make learning exciting, challenging and inspirational for our pupils.

The successful candidate must hold a qualification, at least the equivalent to NVQ Level 3. 

The successful candidate will:

  • Demonstrate effective knowledge of supporting pupils,
  • Demonstrate good literacy and numeracy skills;

Qualifications

  • Make a sustained and well-informed contribution to the Technology provision at the Academy as well as whole Academy improvement strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with other schools in our Multi-Academy Trust.
  • Work with the other Subject Leader Design and Technology (responsibilities for Food Technology and Catering, Textiles and Hair and Beauty) and colleagues to develop departmental expertise and to enrich students learning including through trips and visits.
