Hours of work: full time (37 hours/week), Permanent. This is a term-time appointment: in addition to the 38 weeks of term, the successful candidate will work for 1 weeks working during school holiday periods; the majority of this time will be staff Inset training. A holiday allowance will take the total of paid weeks to 45 per year.

We are looking for a motivated, dedicated individual to work in collaboration with the Pastoral and SEND teams to support students who need additional guidance and encouragement during their school years. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day running of the internal support unit (ISU), ensuring that students are supervised effectively and that high standards of behaviour are achieved.
The successful candidate will have the personal and communication skills necessary to encourage young people to engage with the school and to ensure the smooth running of the ISU. They will also be responsible for establishing and undertaking restorative work with students.
The successful candidate will be educated to at least A-level (level 3) standard, and have at least 5 higher-grade GCSE (or equivalent level 2) passes, including English and mathematics.
