St Bernard’s is a successful Catholic comprehensive school and part of the Diocese of Lancaster, serving the community of Furness and is on the edge of the Lake District National Park.
We are seeking to appoint a permanent, enthusiastic and highly motivated Teacher of Geography to join our school as soon as possible. This post is suitable for either an experienced teacher or a newly qualified teacher.

Geography continues to be a popular subject at St Bernard’s, with over half of the students in Key stage 4 choosing to study it. Our location lends itself well to the teaching of Geography, and our students benefit from the many field work trips that are available to them from our doorstep.
