Cover Supervisor

The Governors of St Bernard’s Catholic High School in Barrow-in-Furness are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor.

St Bernard’s is a successful Catholic comprehensive school, which is part of the Diocese of Lancaster, serving the community of Furness and located on the edge of the Lake District National Park. We are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to provide supervision of students.

Successful candidates will need to respond to questions, generally assist students to undertake set activities and to uphold standards of behaviour in the classroom. In addition to cover needs, there will also be a requirement to work alongside existing staff in curriculum areas providing general support for departments. Teaching Assistant

Data Officer

We want to appoint a highly motivated self-starter to the position of Data Officer in our busy, popular school. The successful candidate will oversee the school data systems and processes, and will ensure that accurate student information is collected, stored, analysed and reported.

Working with colleagues from across the school, responsibilities will include:

Hours of work: ideally, we are looking to appoint a part-time colleague for 25 hours/week; however, full time (37 hours/week) would be available if necessary.
