A high degree of confidentiality is essential.

The weekly commitment of 20 hours shall be worked over 3 days; specific days or half-days, if more suitable, to be agreed with the Headteacher. Times of working shall be between 8.30am and 3.30pm as there will be a requirement to be available to parents and carers at the beginning and end of the school day.  Additional hours may be required as and when the need arises.

Flookburgh school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Appointments will be subject to pre-employment checks which will include satisfactory references, Right to Work in the UK, an enhanced DBS check for regulated activity (to include a children’s barred list check) and a work place health assessment.

Visits to the school are welcome; please contact our finance officer or Headteacher to make an appointment either by email to: admin@flookburgh.cumbria.sch.uk or by telephoning the school office on: 015395 58434.

An application pack can be found on our school website http://www.flookburgh.cumbria.sch.uk or by contacting the Headteacher or Finance Administrator on 015395 58434.

A letter of application of no-more than one side of A4 is also required.  Your letter should refer to the job specification as well as any other, pertinent, information you would like to share to support your application.
